Message from the community: MATC to host a public COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the downtown Milwaukee campus on September 7

Milwaukee Area Technical College will be hosting a free, public COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 at the downtown Milwaukee campus. The clinic will be held in Room M605, Main Building, 1015 N. 6th St .. Pfizer vaccine will be administered.

Free vouchers for North 8th Street and West State Street parking will be available, and snacks and wellness kits will be offered.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can pre-register at https://tinyurl.com/4wk7nbdv.

Pfizer vaccine can be given to anyone 12 years of age and older with parental approval. Vaccines are free, but please bring your insurance card.

“MTC wants to encourage community members, students and staff to get vaccinated to keep everyone safe and healthy,” said Dr Josie Veal, MATC Public Health Officer. “This is all the more important given that the more contagious Delta variant has caused a surge in Wisconsin.”
