Government vacancies for graduate apprentice engineer positions, selection via GATE scores


Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is calling for applications for Graduate Engineering Apprentice positions via GATE score 2021. Interested candidates can apply through the official IOCL website, ioclapply.com. The deadline for submitting applications is July 26. Only the GATE score of the exam organized in 2021 will be taken into account for recruitment.

The IOCL will recruit organizations as engineers / officers in the following disciplines:

a. Chemical Engineer

b. Public works

vs. Electrical engineering

re. Instrumentation engineering

e. Mechanical Engineering

“Further, few applicants would also be selected from the above disciplines (with the exception of Engg instrumentation) to be engaged as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAE) under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 (and subsequent changes thereafter) “, the notification reads.

Eligibility criteria: B.Tech./BE / Equivalent as a regular full-time course from reputed institutions / colleges / universities / universities duly recognized by AICTE / UGC. Qualification for GATE 2021 in any discipline other than chemical, civil, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical engineering will not be accepted for eligibility for the advertised position. Applicants pursuing / having completed their degree (BE / B.Tech) in combined / integrated disciplines / interdisciplinary subjects like mechatronics / robotics, etc. will not be eligible

Selection process: The selection process is based on a group discussion, a group task and a personal interview. However, the eligibility of applicants should be verified before GD, GT and PI and only applicants should be allowed to appear in GD, GT and PI who meet the eligibility criteria by providing relevant and valid documents in the latest formats in original at the time of document verification.
