Summary of Qualifications
SEE TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree, preferably in project management, construction management, architecture, landscape architecture, professional engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering or equivalent experience. -Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute. -Professional license / certification in landscape architecture, architecture or engineering (PE). – Fifteen (15) years or more of experience in project management or construction management supervision involving renovation and new construction for projects over $ 5 million in the public and private sectors; demonstrated experience in preparing / reviewing preliminary and detailed construction schedules, budgets and cost estimates. -Five (5) years or more of experience in management and supervision of institutional projects totaling an annual program budget of more than $ 50 million; proven track record of effective and strategic program planning and management of funds and human resources to achieve target results. – Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office: MS Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, construction management and portfolio management software. -Demonstrated experience in project development, construction, financing and cost accounting processes. -A valid California driver’s license. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS -Master’s degree, preferably in project management, construction management, architecture, landscape architecture, professional engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering or equivalent experience. -Experience in carrying out projects in environmentally sensitive or historically significant environments. -Leed Accredited Professional (AP) issued by the US Green Building Council. -Working experience for a public agency or on projects sponsored by a public agency.
