GAF begins commercial production at the fourth polyiso insulation manufacturing site


PARSIPPANY, NJ, November 15, 2021 / PRNewswire / – GAF today announced that it has expanded its commercial roofing business with the start of production at the company’s fourth polyisocyanurate (polyiso) insulation manufacturing facility for its EnergyGuardâ„¢ product line. Strategically located in New Colombia, Pennsylvania, this new facility allows GAF to increase its manufacturing capacity and improve service to customers in the North East.

Construction of the 250,000 square foot building, which houses a production line of approximately two and a half football fields, began in 2019. Production will continue to grow over the next few months and increase to full capacity as the raw materials will increase. readily available. With these two manufacturing plants side by side, GAF will be able to consolidate shipments of TPO and polyiso insulation, ensuring that the products can be delivered together to a job site.
