Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhary of Assam passes UPSC civil service exams »News Live TV» Assam


Guwahati: UPSC Civil Services Result 2020 was declared today on the UPSC official website. Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhury, son of Zakir Ahmed Choudhury, engineering graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia, made Assam glory by obtaining the 283rd rank in the UPSC 2021 exam.

Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhury is from Lakhirbond, Hailakandi, Assam. His father is a retired CGM from AEGCL (ASSAM ELECTRICITY GRID CORPORATION LIMITED).

Billed as one of the more difficult exams, Choudhury passed the civil service exam on his third attempt.

Choudhury is a Mechanical Engineer at Jamia Millia Islamia Faculty of Engineering and Technology in New Delhi.

Choudhury completed his upper secondary education at Guwahati National Public School in 2012.

After completing his B-Tech, he ventured into his own e-commerce start-up.

The UPSC announced the final result of the civil service exam, 2020 on Friday. A total of 761 candidates – 545 men and 216 women – have been recommended for appointment.

The candidacy of 151 candidates is provisional.

The Commission has published the list of candidates who will now join various central services in addition to IAS, IPS and IFS.

Shubham Kumar, B. Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay, tops the list while Jagriti Awasthi, B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from MANIT, Bhopal is the best among the women candidates for 2nd place.

The top 25 applicants include 13 men and 12 women.
