640 MITE students obtain graduation certificates

A total of 537 engineering students and 103 management students received graduation certificates at the graduation ceremony of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) in Moodbidri recently.

The graduation ceremony took place for the 11th promotion of engineering students and the 12th promotion of MBA students.

KNS Acharya, Director, Global Engineering Academy, L&T Technology Services Ltd., was the main guest. Speaking on this occasion, he asked the students to continue learning constantly by acquiring new skills.

“Jobs are now interdisciplinary and you have to be prepared for such a working environment,” he said.

The five university rank holders Sabith Ahamed Manegar (second rank in Mechatronics Engineering), N. Suraj (third rank in Mechatronics Engineering), Varun SL (sixth rank in Mechatronics Engineering), Yajnesha G. (sixth rank in Aeronautical Engineering) and Abigal Sharal Mathias (10th rank in computer science and engineering) were congratulated on this occasion.

Additionally, all the best from each branch – Sakshi Poojary from MBA, Dipayan Dey from Mechanical Engineering, Abhigal Sharal Matias from Computer Engineering, Dakshath L. Amin from Electronics and Communications Engineering, Yajnesha G. from Aeronautical Engineering, Shreyaswini from Information Engineering, Mamata Narayan Vektapur from Civil Engineering, Sabith Ahamed Manegar from Mechatronic Engineering were congratulated with gold medals.
