3rd GA of the Education and Solidarity Organization held

The third annual general assembly (AGA) of the Organization for Education and Solidarity (ESO) was held at the Giashuddin Milky auditorium in Khamar Bari in the capital on December 25.

ESO is a charitable organization, created by alumni, SSC lot 94, of Bharateswari Homes, to raise awareness and involve friends and acquaintances for their continued support to establish a strong and sustainable benefit system and build a home for the defenseless and to ensure an occupation with the vision of “education for all and the empowerment of the disadvantaged”.

The AGM was chaired by Dr Saria Nafia, President of ESO and attended by 65 members including Azizul Bari, ED, International Angel Association and ESO Life Member.

The program was anchored and supported by Rita Dey, Deputy Director, Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture.

The 2021 annual reports of all sub-committees (education, events, media, social welfare, registration, project planning and finance) were presented, as well as the 2022 plan and budget were discussed during the AGM. Annual reports and AGM proceedings will be available on their website.

ESO has paid stipends to 15 students this year and plans to contribute 18 more students next year.

ESO commemorates the principles of Raibahadur Ranada Prasad Saha, the great philanthropist and founder of Kumudini Welfare Trust.
